Cartists exhibition

Held at Coventry motor museum Brings several different artists to take a vehicle and make it their own. As a result of this these artists have painted, reorganised or completely reconstructed the vehicles in new and creative ways. This exhibition featured many different art styles ranging from simple but bold designs to complex sculptures made of what may of the artists used as a canvas.

My personal favourite was the swarm in which the artist covered the car in some form of black material into the shapes of some form of alien creature/s with a vibrant shells resembling chitinous creatures , it was akin to what would be found within a sci fi or horror film, in addition to this I believe I was drawn to this sculpture because of the similarities in colour pallet with a lot of metallic on black tones being used

This is a brilliant exhibition that I personally love showing how similar things can change so much in the hands of different people. In relation to human imprint this exhibition is perfect along with my theme of transport.

in response to this exhibition it is worth considering using different surfaces to create art on, the issue with this would be that often parts of cars or other mechanisms can be expensive or awkward to work on.
